Questions about Cohutta Wilderness
« on: February 13, 2007, 12:09:00 PM »
I am wanting to plan a hunt next year(2008), and was thinking about the Cohutta Wilderness in GA. Would anyone be able to offer some information on this area? How hard is it to get into hogs?  Are they hunted hard?  What is the best time of year to hunt them?

Have you checked the 7 page thread on the PowWow?

You can only hunt hogs on the Cohutta management area and Wilderness during designated times.....small game season starting August 1st....during the whole bow season.....and one week during gun season....and the small from Jan 1st till Feb 28th.
