I use plan corn in my feeder and the day I shoot I put down some pig man gel stuff in the bottle to keep them there longer. It works because my cameras tell me that the 100lb  pigs are there every morning and evening. At least 10 to 15 pigs. But when the feeder is dry good by pigs. So keep the feeder going.

If you want to get really fancy, take a 3-4 foot section of 6-8inch metal pipe. Weld on a cap on one end with a section of chain, and use a threaded cap on the other. Drill with some 3/4inch holes sporatically - not swiss cheese, but say one every 6 inches randomly around the pipe. Fill it with your sour corn - earlier recipies work fine, grape koolaid is a favorite additive for me. Screw on the end cap and secure the chain to a tree or t-post.

PVC will work for a while if you want to test it out, but they will destroy it eventually.

We've used them in Texas - a lot of fun for night hunting in particular - you will definately know when they come in. Esp fun if you have a spot near camp that you stalk in to in the dark - you can hear it from quite a ways away.

I never tried them, there are so many "gimmicks" out there that I didn't want to try them without some reviews on them...

When hunting javelin, I took a 5 gallon bucket filled only 1/2 with corn, then poured gallon of milk and a quart of cheap whiskey.  Put the lid on and set in sun for a few days.  Only put out a few handfuls where you are hunting and "They will come".  I thought about adding some diesel, but didn't want to have meat with the diesel in it.  The cheap whiskey worked so well - One day I had the bucket at camp out in the sun.  I opened it to check on it - smelled pretty strong and left the lid off while I went in to eat lunch.  Looked out the window and here the javelin came across an open park from 150 yards away with their noses up.  They came right to the bucket - I sneaked out and shot one.

When I was a kid we fed the hogs ground oats and corn mixed with milk from the separator. It all sat in a 55 gal drum until feedin time. Now I would think this would still work well to call in hogs.
