You might look at Weitas Cr. Outfitters in Kamiah, Idaho. I hunted bears with him last year, going back this year, and he is a trad bow guy. Good folks.

Thank you so much there Centaur. Just trying to find the best deal and guide that doesn't look down on trad guys. Im a cop in my small county and the bride really loves the mountain lion after seeing one of my best friends that he has. He got it back in 98 with his long bow. We have been together for two years and she knows how much I live hunting wit my stick and string.  she says she wants one in our den. So going to try and get one if the funds allow. lol

I doubt you can do better than Korell Outfitters in Central Idaho.  These guys are the real deal.  

I went last february and didn't get a lion.  My buddy did and it was unbelievable we even got that one.  There was no snow to speak of and they still got one of us a nice cat on dry ground.  They have great dogs, a great area, reasonable prices, and more knowledge of their area than anybody I've ever seen.  

You will not go wrong.  If I was planning a lion hunt again, I would not book for a specific date.  I would set up a flexible time when I could go when the snow was going to be conducive to a good hunt.

I would look into Arizona as well... Lots of lion guys that have no issues with bowhunters.  When I killed mine the guy actually preferred bowhunters over gun guys.  He said bowhunters tend to be much more precise and most times had quicker kills.  Mine died 50 feet up in the tree.  You would most likely need to stay a little flexible on the dates.  Northern and Eastern Arizona can and does get a lot of snow.  Lots of big lions too.

I went with Fred Eichler in 2005. I'm a contractor and arranged it so I could go when he called. I killed a nice medium size cat on 7th day of my hunt. There are quite a few good lion guides out there, but if you can arrange to take off when they get snow, your success can be a lot better.

I had a great hunt with Tom Klumker, San Francisco River Outfitters in Arizona a few years back. What I liked about Tom's method of hunting was it was all done on horse and mule back. No trucks, ATVs, snowmobiles,  radio tracking collars, etc. To each his own but that is the type of hunt I wanted.
