old Browning broadheads

went up to Tenn. this weekend and stopped by a sporting goods store on the way friday, went and looked around for Trad.archery ////nothing but wheelies.....and then laying on the counter was a Bear Grizzly in mint shape.....put the quiver had 6 mico-flight arrows and 6 Broadheads.....on the broadheads had Browning....2 blades that spiraled down from the point.....neat looking old head....are these real old.......i want one for my collection....would like to trade for one....just thought they looked different......any info would be helpful-thanks...(this bow was given to the store owner friday to hang on the wall in the archery dept,,,,really dusty been around for a while--he was going to clean it up and hang on his wall)

The production model came out in 1971. Through it's live time there were 3 production models. They were a bear to sharpen and therfore lacked penetration. They are a cool looking head.

Ike---thanks for the info....what was the name of theis Broadhead????i would like to find one.....i guess because it looked really different.......

It's a Browning Serpentine. You  say you have a broadhead collection? If you want to know more about collecting then there would be much to gain by joining the American Broadhead Collectors CLub.
Email me with an address and I will sent you one of these Serpentines. Also send me a list or pictures of heads you have available for trade.
If you have some heads you need identified then send a picture of them also.
