Charlie Meets Everett....Ya Just Never Know
« on: November 29, 2007, 10:45:00 PM »
Charlie is off on another ADVENTURE with "BUTCH" and Bows an Arras   :scared:      :help:

To hang on to what little sanity he has left, he'll call quite often ta tell me some of the latest stunts and sayings he's learnin.

One good one from today was " I broke that Broken TV Again..It still don't work"   :banghead:      :banghead:

Charlie had an experience today that he ask I share with Y'all. When he gets back he'll polish it up more better.

He an Butch have a diner near Hannibal, MO. that they like to frequent on their way up and back from camp. Today was no exception to that ritual. They were finishing up lunch when a fellow comes to their table. He apologises for the interruption,  but asks if Charlie  was Charlie Lamb. Charlie acknowledged the fact that indeed he was. The fellow introduced himself as Everett Dooley, he said he recognized Charlie from TradGang and followed Charlies writings, noting that he enjoyed them very much. He told Charlie that he spent quite a bit of time just reading and watching the site.

He departed with what Charlie said was a very FULL and Blessed Spirit. When Charlie went up to pay the bill the cashier made the comment that Charlie had made Everett's day.

Well Everett if your out there reading tonight, Charlie would like you to know that YOU "MADE HIS DAY"

Charlie is a bit unclear how you recognized him, was it the Bib Overalls, The Pink Bracelet, or perhaps the Sun Bear cap. This hunt took on a whole different meaning after that meeting. Stand BY For MORE.

Charlie's comment to me was.
"Ya just never know what effect your having in life tell your Everett introduces himself"

Guess that just goes to show all of us how quietly far reaching TRADGANG really is.

Sleep well BUTCH is LOOSE  :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:

That's why I always wear a mask when I go anywhere with Charlie. Everyone thinks I'm trying to be "Robin" hangin with the Caped Crusader. Nope! I'm just trying to keep from being associated with Butch!   :goldtooth:

I've got Charlie carrying his camcorder this trip so he captures what a real hunt is all about when you are along with Butch. This will only get better.

Sure glad Charlie met up with one of the friendly's. It could have gone the other way and he'd have had to make Butch buy!   :biglaugh:

That's the way I felt the first time I met Charlie, you know all weak in the knees and all!!

That also happened to me one time, unfortunately the fellow had mistaken me for Arnold Schwarzenegger! I guess I should be glad he didn't mistake me for Butch.
