Wing History/Age
« on: July 16, 2005, 12:14:00 AM »
Does anyone know about Wing and what years they were where...
I have an older Wing with a clear sticker that lists 314 So 7th, Houston 36, Texas...
I have seen Wings with the foil decals and the Head Ski or AMF, but never one with the clear decal...I am figuring around early 60's with the bow design....
Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

I've got a 1961 Presentation (The 1st year that Bob made the Presentation) and it has a clear Wing sticker on it. The sticker has gold print and says, 'Presentation' then 'Wing' in bigger letters with a picture of wings. This was the Wing 'Outlaw' as it had rosewood and white glass lams on the belly of the sight window. This was used by many barebow shooters as sight markings and therefor became outlawed at many shoots. This riser was simple in desighn, like a Bear Grizzly.

I've also got a 1964 Presentation. It has a gold foil sticker with green print and the riser has more mass added to it. Very beautiful.

Hope this was helpful!   :)
