Anyone know anything about this bow??
« on: July 20, 2005, 10:08:00 PM »
I have a bow that I inherited from my dad.  It is made by Colt, LH model "Pioneer", 62" #47 @28". I would love to shoot the bow myself, but I am right handed.  The bow is in decent shape with a few scratches.  It is at least 25 years old, as best as I can remember.

Does anyone know anything about this bow??  I am thinking of trading it in at my local archery shop for another recurve, but I don't know what a fair trade value would be, or a selling price if I were to sell it.

What would be a fair price to sell it for??

Thanks in Advance

C

Colby:

I really don't know a lot about the Colt bow, - I just got to shoot one about 2 years ago that belonged to a friends uncle and it was older than 25 years, I believe.

Have you tried a Google search about Colt bows. There are also some archery history websites that you could try.

Actually probably the best and quickest way to find a average cost is to search Ebay.

Seems as if lately Ebay has gotten a little overwhelming for finding stuff on the site there, but just persist, you'll find something sooner than later.

Hope this helped

Chuck

Sell your Dad's bow ?? Trust me on this- in a few years you will wish you had it back. So what if you can't shoot it. Hang it up and admire. That bow is a prt of YOUR history.
