Information on SAYRE longbows.
« on: August 13, 2005, 01:46:00 PM »
Does anyone have information on longbows designed and built by Sayre bow company? (Could be Bayre?) The traditional styled bows, built in a myriad of american and exotic hardwoods, have a typical deflex-reflex style with leather wrapped handle.  Hanging from the handle are two small bowstring threads, with indian style beads and two small, metal feathers.  The art logo, handdrawn on the bow next to length and weight, is a small indian style spear with two feathers. Any information would be much appreciated, as I'm trying to see if these bows are still made. thanks DBL
