Legends of the Longbow Collection (value?)

Hi everyone ,, My hunting parnter has a complete set of the books "Legends of the Longbow" 29 volumes all signed by Glenn St. Charles. Most of the volumes have never been opened, they are in mint condition. He wants to sell them but doesn't know how much they could be worth. Any info would be greatly appreciated,, Thanks ,Frank.

Would love to have them myself, but have a hard time paying what they are worth. If I remember right a set goes for from $1000 to $1200. But sets in mint condition...who knows.

I have a complete signed/numbered set I bought new. Even though I bought them for the history rather than value, Derrydale screwed those who bought them by releasing a lot of unsigned books on the market and not part of the set. Few people want to pay for a complete signed/numbered set for what they SHOULD be worth when they can get them individually cheaper. These unsigned books should have been destroyed. Part of the price those who bought the sets paid for was getting a signed/numbered set.

There was also another book they released, A Study of Bows and Arrows by Pope, that had defects they didnt catch till some had recieved it, I wasnt one of them. When I demanded to recieve it they gave me the run-around and never delivered. Every time I talked to customer service, they never delivered and brushed me off.

To say I am unhappy with Derrydale is an understatement. Some may not agree with me but I know of at least one other BIG TIME archery book collector who does.

The books themselfs are a great reference source and I highly recomend getting them, if it wasnt for this fact, I would be much more upset than I am. If you just want the data within, look to the unsigned ones. Two of these recently sold on Ebay for $24 and $32.
