« on: February 19, 2006, 10:46:00 AM »
I have a Fred Bear takedown bow. Specs are as follows;
A) Takedown with spring locked metal hinged latches
B)  Center section, Black glass front and back, Green stripe with gold borders, silver colored Bear button, ser # B-5043
C)  Limb 1 marked, Fred Bear Custom Kodiak T/D,
                  60" @ 50#, #2B5669
                  Black glass on front and back
                  with green tip.
D)  Limb 2 marked Bear Archery Gainesville Florida
                  Ser # 2B-5669 US Patent 2842113
                  Black glass front and back with
                  Green tip.
Any idea on the year of mfg. ? This bow is in ex. + condition with original string. Thanks for any help

This would have been made in the 1980s in Gainsville, Fl. Is it a right or left hand bow?

is the bear coin flush, or raised from the bows riser?
Don't deal with me, I stole from the St Jude's Auction.

The coin is raised, kinda dome shaped.
