I know this might be a long shot but my grandfather gave my dad an old laminated bow that he purchased years ago and I am trying to find out if anyone might have any info on it.
It was purchased at Sears sometime in the late 1940's (1948-1950). The only markings on the bow are the catalog # 2511. The length 5" 4" and the serial number K5018 and 50#.
The bow is a dual window bow so it can be shot off the shelf either left or right handed. Similar to a bear alaskan or cub. It has a reddish brown glass on the front and green glass on the back. Unfortunalty I do not have pics since my dad lives in another state.
I know that bear made alot of bows for sears but did they make bows that far back? Anybody want to venture a guess?
