Another mystery bow
« on: January 22, 2008, 09:04:00 PM »
An unmarked multi-lam wood bow with black glass on belly and back. Been refinished and there is no writing or stickers anywhere. Its 57" from tip to tip and 63" around the curve. Thought someone might recognize the profile or the style. Tips are curved alot, and a very deep grip.

Don't know what it is but I DO like it.
A bad day of hunting is still far better than a good day at work.

Nothing special about the tips, black glass both sides and no overlays.

Oh ya,Bingham still sells the kit for recurve, long bow and take downs. Our old high school had 4 of the same forms for one peace recurve in above pic.The bow I have built from the bingham kit is robbins egg blue fiberglass and walnut riser.Pretty ugly, but she's a shooter.Ya'all would really be suprized at how many custom bowyers actuly use Binghams forms...bowdoc

I believe it is made by American Archery.  They made bows in Wisconsin.  I just picked up a 64# 66" recurve.  Same design
