Russell Wilcox Duoflex Bow

I'm looking for information on a Russ Wilcox Duoflex aluminum takedown bow that I picked up a few years ago. I'm not having much luck. Can anyone help me out?

I was always impressed by the Willcox Duoflex, though never saw one in real life. I would love to see some pictures posted here. I'll start with one of Russell Willcox working on the tiller of a Duoflex bow - as pictured by ELMER in his brilliant book: Target Archery.

   

Some parts of the chapter on bowmaking are actually written by Willcox. The Duoflex design is also discussed in there. Seems like he and Elmer did know each other quite good?!

Thanks Falk, that's the type of info I'm looking for. A Google search turned up nothing but one of his bows for sale. I was told when I first got this bow that most of his aluminum bows broke from metal fatigue.
 I was going to post some pics of the bow until I found out I needed to use photo bucket. How did you post your pics of Russ, just do a cut and paste?

Chris, I have my own website and can upload pics from there. But PhotoBucket etc. is not that difficult to master. There are some  hints in PowWou  for using it.

Without posting pics from time to time the internet is boring, not?! So you need it anyways

I owned one of Russ's laminated bows several years ago, it too was a take down I believe all of his bows were. It was exactly like the one he is working on in Elmer's book. It was a socket type grip.
 Russ had the habit of painting little stick figures on the limbs, does this one have that. I've never seen one of his aluminum bows.

aromaker, the only markings on the bow are R. Willcox and 137 on the upper limb and 137 on the lower limb. These are scratched into the aluminum.

I think we can assume the number to be the serial. I've seen similar numberings on pics of wooden Duoflex's too.
I wonder though, why Willcox would have scratched numbers and his name into the metal in such a crude manner? Could it be some sort of ID from an archery club or school with lots of these bows?!
