Frenchymanny's Last hunt of 2007
« on: December 01, 2007, 07:22:00 PM »
Well....it was the last hunt of 2007 for Manny, he heads home in 2 weeks to visit his family overseas.
I had a great time hunting with my new good friend.
We saw deer, he had a chance ( a bit high...   ;)    ), we shot alot of stumps, drank good red wine and ate like kings here in paradise as Manny calls it.    :)

I was saddened to know that today was his last hunt and I have a full month left; but that is life and Im glad he could share it with me.'
This am was -26 and poor Manny froze right up!!! here are a few pics of the big, burly bowhunter being pampered by my lady, Kelly...LOL
Life is tough eh?, even my beagle Daisy was wondering what the fuss was about!

A pic Manny took of me, and one I took of him, wearing my wool bibs, ( I gave them to him after the hunt, to start his wool-collection! )and my wool vest, he was warm this afternoon.  :)

Cary my Friend a big thank you to you!

I was blessed this year with new Friends to share a fire with and enjoy wonderful times!

All started at the Chelsea 3D shoot, where I met with Jake and Cary. Wonderful time was had there, and a turkey hunt was planned.

The turkey hunt was a blast, I discovered Paradise and our friendship solidified. Then the carpshoot were I met the OBB and Nick, and later shooting On Cary and Kelly private range. At that time I met with Serge (Drifter2) who is a wonderful guy to be around. An other friendship that means alot to me.

Cary spent relentless hours to tune my bow, improve my form, show me the wonders of backcountry in SouthEast Ontario, and share his expertise as a shooter and as hunter with me.

2007 is over for me for the hunt, but it was a very secial year.

Thank you Cary my Friend, I wish you a wonderful Christmas to you, your wonderful Lady Kelly, Michaella, Kayla and Trey. I will take good care of those bibs, a great start for my necessary gear!    ;)

Harl, Ontario Lonbow, I look forward to meet with you!

Paradise, I'll be back, more wonderful memories to be made

Awesome, what a year it has been, great friends, great time, true traditionalist and from what I can see    :saywhat:  2008 looks even better.
Deer season still on for 29 more days, hopefully I can spare some time in the deer woods, work has kept me away for the most part of it,went out twice with F-Manny,we had a great time, saw a monster 10 points,no shots, beside a running one and a clean miss. Then another heavily horned monster far in the distance, what can be better? Only a traditionalist knows.
You know F-Mann,the season is still on,if you can make it let me know.
Cary,we still have to go after those monsters,I'll let yo know the weekend I'll be off,we need to keep the case till the last minute, maybe F-Manny will join us in the ever so wild deer woods.Just don't let him drive your truck    :biglaugh: .

Nice pics, cold feet,a warm cup of coffee and a fire.Memories are priceless.
