How I sharpen Snuffers:
Use a 12 inch mill file and file back-to-tip, 2 edges at once until both edges appear same. Rotate and repeat times 2 on other sides.
Use an 8" med/fine file (Grizzly, Abe's, etc) and file back-to-tip with medium pressure, 1 stroke on 2 edges at once. Rotate and repeat until all edges have been stroked at least 4 or 5 times. Decreasing the pressure on the last rounds will help.
Take a juice glass or tumbler and set it on the table. Be sure the glass rim is rounded and smooth. Lightly draw the broadhead from back-to-tip across the rim of the glass. Rotate and repeat several times. The final strokes should have almost no downward pressure..just extremely light contact with the glass.
Verify that your broadheads are now nightmare sharp and put them safely in your quiver.
Then you can use the tumbler to celebrate!
