Help with Bear ID
« on: July 09, 2008, 11:16:00 AM »
I have been to the Bear ID site and left there more confused and with a headache. Seems Bears plan was "Just put a number on it".
First is a Kodiak Magnum, it is Green with the blue stripe, the Bear coin is either alunimum or pewter, the SN# is KU24158
Second is a Grizzly, some sort of wood, Bear coin is again either alunimum or pewter, SN# KR91717
Thanks so much. I know there are Bear experts here who have figured out that whole SN thing.
 Seems easier to learn Chinese.

both your bows are for sure after 1970-ish...some pics would be great but I would say the mag (green riser with blue)is a 1974-1976 and the Grizzly may be the same.....bowdoc

I am with Bow-doc and by the way if the coins are raised above the wood that confirms it more. And they are plastic not metal if they are the raised type.
