For uniform and consistant flight you really need to get their stiffest side against your bow. It's a little hard to find the stiff side(s) on these types of arrows without a spine tester. But if you have a good feel for arrows then try flexing your arrows and see if you can determine which side is which. Here's a good example for you. Aluminum and carbon shafts will show the same deflection all around their circumference on a spine tester but in wood or cane shafts this is seldom the case.
