Kodiack Special
« on: January 05, 2009, 09:23:00 PM »
Hi,  I stopped by the gun shop and they had a Kodiack Special 7H113 66", 37#, copper coin, zebra wood riser, with a black saddle(?) where your hand goes, white glass, black tips, a couple of cracks on the belly side of the top and bottom limbs, brush rest, and a sight window plate. Very good looking bow. What year was this bow made, I think mid to late 60's and what is it worth, the shop wants $200.
    Take care, Brad

Hi Brad,
The pro's will kick in shortly.
Pretty sure it would be a 1967

Everyone is going to ask for pictures.

How deep are the cracks?

Are you sure the coin was copper or could it have been brass?  I'd agree with Kurt 1967.

If you think it is worth 200.00 then it is. Take a look on the auction site and sort out your likes and dislikes. Prices are likely going to fall sharply this winter and your 200.00 may buy more than now.

That is a good year for the kodiak special. $200 is not a great deal unless you really want it. Offer the guy $150.
