Some BEAR Collectible Questions

While I'm a serious trad bowhunter, I never really began seriously "collecting" old archery stuff.  Growing up I collected old shotgun shells, shell boxes, and the wooden crates and have quite an extensive collection of those items, especially the wooden boxes.  Neat walk down Memory Lane.  

Over the years, I've often traded or sold such archery items I did run across to friends, etc.  Was doing some housecleaning and came across some items that I'm hoping someone here could help me gauge an approximate value so I can try to sell them at a fair price to both myself (for being a pack rat) and their new owner.

Old Bear Catalogs, most in very good condition, from 81-82-83-85.

Old pad of Bear Archery scoresheets (circa 1970), has the Grayling address.

Two patches, circa mid-80's, 'Fred Bear Sports Club' and 'I Shot and Missed Award.'

I have photos of these items but it takes me a while to go through the PhotoBucket routine so that may take a bit.  I'm hopeful some Bear fans can give me some ballpark figures.  THANKS!

Looks like the start of a great collection of Bear memorabilia. Most of the catalog collectors that I know are interested in Bear catalogs from the 1940's, 50's and 60's. Patches, etc. are very common and seem to be up for auction regularly at minimal prices.

Only way to know the value of what you have is to put them on e8ay and see what they bring.

All this stuff is worth what someone will pay...no more, no less.

Put them up with good pictures and good descriptions and the bidders will set the price.

Right now, in this economy, don't expect too much.

In my opinion, the shipping cost may exceed the actual bids.

Any chance you could post up a picture (probably from that '82) of the Silver Magnum compound bow.  That was my first bow and I haven't seen one since I traded it shortly afterward.  Yes, yes, I know it's a compound, but it's what I started with at 14 yrs old!

Also, I'm curious, what recurves they were making during those time periods?  I saw what was advertised as an "early Gainesville Kodiak" on ****, and I didn't know such a thing existed.

Alaska/Papalapin...I hear you, and I'm certainly not looking to make a buck.  Just wondering what a fair price to self/buyer would be.  I can't access e8ay at work and we don't have internet at home, so this is presently my only outlet.

Instead of posting it here, it might be best to just e-mail the picture of the compound, if you can.  That way you don't violate trad gang rules.

Don't know what to tell you about the value of your items.  One guy might say one of teh catalogs is worth $1.00, and another might say $10.00.  All depends on how much someone wants it.  That is about the best answer aI can give you.  Wish I could d obetter.
