« on: April 06, 2009, 08:37:00 PM »
With a 1957 Bear Kodiak Special. Serial # RXV113 43# 66 inch bow. Also included was some oringinal paper work. The Bear bow new owner's record stating the bow was first bought on 6-1-57 for a price of $65.00 in Canton Ohio but the dealers name was not filled in. When Daryl called asking if I was instered I asked him what kind of condition it was in and he told me it was in very good shape. I think it is in better than good shape it looks almost new.  THANK'S DARYL she's a beauty. sorry guy's haven't learned to do pic's yet

Glad you like it Doug.  It's always good to set reasonable expectations.  The surprise is always a positive one that way.

Like I said, if it were a righty, I'd be very pleased.

Have you shot it?

Congrats Doug!!! I have one just like it only 52#, all I can say is WOW what a shooter!!!!!!!!!! Quietest shooting bow I have not heard   :D   and fast for a vintage bow. Matter of a fact my Adcock 1PC and Habu are jealous of it.   :biglaugh:

Here's a pic I had left in The Bucket.  I love the tips on those 57 KSs.  I still dont own one but someday I'll find one that is the "right" hand and I'll own it.  LOL

No problem Doug. I enjoy seeing my "Bear bows" file growing, and helping out in my small way
