1977 Bear Bows
« on: May 08, 2009, 12:31:00 AM »
I have been reading this forum alot and I know alot of you guy's get bow's from the year you were born. I have been thinking about that idea and was wondering how I would recognize a '77? I know this was the last year they were in Grayling so does that make them more collectible? When I start searching I just want to have a good idea what I am looking for. Also what would be the best model for that year? Thanks..Henry

The 76 and 77's looked very similar so to be absolutely sure will be difficult. also 1976 was the last year for the Super Kodiak so I would say the Kodiak Hunter would be the top model. There is sombody on  e*** selling repro catalogs I would suggest getting a 77 catalog and study the subtle differences.
