Confused by Yesterday's Thread

Yesterday a thread ran that explained the difference between a '59 Grizzly and a '60-1959 has black and white paper micarta tip overlays and 1960 has black and white fiberglass tip overlays. In addition, and this applies to 1959 and 1960 Grizzlies only; serial nos prior to FK are 1959.
I thought I knew the difference-2 dark chevrons below the sight window for a '59 and one dark chevron for a '60.  But after that thread I'm confused, again (that happens a lot with me). Here are pictures of my 2 '59/'60 vintage Grizzlies.  The first set of pictures, the SN is FB.  The second set, the SN is FG.  The first bow looks like micarta, the second looks different-fiberglass??

So, do I have 2 59's or a 59 and a 60?

two 1959's both bows have paper tip overlays.First one is pretty easy to see however I can see the tell tale glue lines on the first layer againest the glass on the second bow as well.The serial numbers on those do not tell alot.Both bows are the same and come in several different looking type risers.I got a 1959 and 1960 I will try and post a couple pics later this morning.bd

Is there any particular reason for the differece in the number of layers in the overlays?
