I have gotten a lot of opinions on this bow and was refered here by a man on another site to possibly get some help. I have a bow that I am sure is I do believe to be rare.

I have a very old take down bow by Ben Pearson that I am getting a ton of different answers on. I am trying to identify the exact year of the bow. I know it was made before 58 but can't pin point the year. The numbers on the bow are not stamped on the wood they look carved into the wood. I have the original bag and wood arrows. Could some of you out there help me. I would like for you to see the engraved numbers. The bow is green on one side. My understanding is it is early 50's to mid but I would like to pin point the exact year. I understand Ben Pearson made bow in mass production and a lot of people think that most of them are not of collectors statue but this was one of the first and before the mass production, it was kept in line that the bushmaster was designed from so I do believe it to have some value. please email me at
