I would venture to guess that it was produced in 1960.  Howattman would be the real guy to ask.

I have one with the original case and in the 1963 edition of archer's bible they are advertised for sale for 150.00. They are beauties for sure.

Nice one.

I think the Del Rey ws the all time top of the line Howatt Tournament bow.

I am not that informed on the years made, but a fellow tournament shooter had one the he bought new in the late '60's.  One thing I would say is that if it has a factory installed stabelizer bushing (hard to tell in the pics)  I would say it is in the latter half of the '60's.

Just my guess, really...it will pprobably take Howattman to really date it; or you could call Martin with the serial number and they can give you an exact date.

Thanks guys.It does have the stabilizer bushing.I really don't have a clue how to date them, but I was thinking a 1960 or 1970 being that the serial # starts with a 0.I have a few other Howatts and that seemed to be how it went, but not sure. It's just figuring out the 60's,70's,80's part.I'll have to give Martin a call to see what they say. Thanks again.
