What length string for a 1967 58in Kodiak Hunter

Just picked up a 67 58in Kodiak Hunter and need to know what length string and what kind.

54" and make sure you use a B-50 dacron string -- not fast flight. The old Bear recurves from the 60s and 70s always use a string that is 4" shorter than the AMO length listed on the bow. The bow will probably want a brace height between 8" and 8.5". The old Kodiak Hunters are wonderful bows. You will be happy with it -- if you aren't happy just send it to me. LOL
