My father in law was at Schofield Barracks on Dec 7th and I had an uncle who was on a ship in Pearl Harbor that day; they both survived, but had stories to tell. There aren't many living Pearl Harbor survivors around, but if you know one give him a salute on this "Day of Infamy".

I heard ken burns on the radio doing an interview and one thing he said struck me.   he was imploring people who have relatives/acquaintances that are WWII veterans to record them on video or audio telling their stories.   he said we are loosing that at a rate of something like a thousand a day....

and it would be a shame to let their stories go with them.

Thank you, Sal and Jerry.

Never forget, always honor.

I know some survivors of that day. Some were military, some were civilians that day. All are amazing people.
I salute them, All!
