The Trinity
« on: August 19, 2009, 09:30:00 PM »
This has been on my my mind and in my heart for a while. Religious believers of the trinity: God , the Father and Holy Ghost. Before you leave this sight, as Archers we have a connection to all 3!

I truely believe, that God put a bow and arrow in the field for Adam to use! I truely believe, man did not create or invent the Bow! Know one can say for sure when it came into existince! No One! Carbon dating won't work in my oppinion! Call me crazy, I don't care!

Here is the connection, I believe! God the Father... the Bow, The Son... the String, the Holy Ghost...The Arrow! It takes all 3 to be Complete! I love my Archery Family, Good shootin, Steve

Where's the son?
Many have died for my freedom.
One has died for my soul.

One should guess the Arrow.
I rather like the analogy.
Paul likens salvation to the armour of GOD.
the shield, the brest plate, et. al.
Wood, string, feathers and walking in the woods

I agree a neat analogy now that we have all three of them in the picture
Many have died for my freedom.
One has died for my soul.

Know what your saying Frank. I feel after reading Dave Roose's CBA tract a while back that God would find pleasure in a bow and arrow as both are mentioned throughout the bible. Doesn't matter who else thinks that way or would want to argue the point with me because that is just a feeling that I have had while out stump shooting or walking in the woods from time to time...
