Ben Pearson?

I think that was the same thing as a Ben Pearson Hunter but with a less exotic wood in the riser.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

I'm pretty sure Jack is right on this. Pearson and Bear each made bows for the larger chains. GY

Grant, is spot on. I had a bow with a Sears logo on it while at the same time having all the Bear logos too. Nice bow! I don't run across too many of these type though.

i picked up a few Monkey Ward's Hunters and kept two.  Look for the 62" one, or what the boys at Monkeys label 5'2" and you have a nice collection. Not the Boardwalk or Park Place, but a step above Baltic Ave!
Great examples of solid  - made in the USA - mass production in the peak times before the wheel.
