1960 Bear Kodiak?
« on: December 26, 2009, 05:42:00 AM »
I would like to find a 1960 Kodiak to hunt with next season. That is the year I was born and I thought that it would be neat to hunt with and maybe take a deer with a bow that was the same age as me (50 next deer season). I have heard that the 1960 and 1961 bows are mostly wall hangers now because of a flaw in the fiberglass or the way that it was applied. Is this true?

I disagree that 60's or 61's are mainly wall hangers. I think they are both great shooters.

Yea there is nothing wrong with a bow from this period if it looks solid. Jim
