Black Widow ID
« on: January 05, 2010, 01:47:00 PM »
My buddy picked up a older ( i'm guessing late 60's) Black Widow take down. The bow is marked 69" and 35# so I'm guessing it is a target bow. The riser is aluminum and the whole thing is a gold metal flake? Any one have any info on old black widows, what this is or value? I will have the bow in a few days and will post some pics and any more #'s I can find on it. Thanks

Chris -

Do you have photos of the bow? Photos should reveal the model. And, if you have a serial number (may be stamped into the limb butts), widowman can tell you when it was made (probably some time in the '70s).

I have a couple pics but can't figure how to post them. The limbs have 10441 on them and the riser has a 4.I should have it in my hot little hands in a week. Have more info then

Sorry, I tried to make this pic smaller but this is kind of a complicated system you have going here, also I'm not really a computer guy.I understand if you scrap it.

Yep, talked to the guys at BW and they were very helpful, it was shipped in sep. of 75, that makes it as old as me! Guess I have to buy it now.  :bigsmyl:
