Badger by Legacy?
« on: January 27, 2010, 10:37:00 AM »
I have a longbow that I received and I do not
know anything about it. It says -Badger- by legacy on one side and serial number on the other with (64")55# @28" and 7 3/16 BH. If anyone has any knowledge of this longbow please let me know.
Thank you
If one really wishes to be master of an art,
technical knowledge of it is not enough. One has
to transcend technique so that the art becomes an
"artless art" growing out of the Unconscious.

Ricky, I sold a bow a while back here on Tradgang that was a Badger by Legacy.  I believe mine was a 45# that had been taken down from a higher poundage - 60# as I recall.
I liked the bow and got several deer with it.  It was made by a bowyer in Fort Wayne, Indiana who no longer makes bows.  I do not recall his name but I bought the bow from 3 Rivers Archery when they were selling them.  Properly, it's called a reverse handle long bow - not a lot of reflex or deflex.
I simply had too many bows and sold it along with a couple others that were gathering dust.
Yours should be plenty good for deer - or anything else for that matter that you would care to hunt with it.
Bill
I'm just happy to be here!
