Jim, I hope you're not trying to attract attention to your listings. We got shut down for folks "Shilling" adds, and we lost some good people because of it. If you are doing that, I would consider it a personal favor from you to request from a moderator that this "ADD" be pulled. Thanks.

If that's not what you are doing, could you please make your question a little more clear, so us small minded folks can help you out.

Sure. I am sincerely wanting to know if anyone has ever seen any other heavy draw wing bows. I saw the one very heavy bow and from my experience it was such an odd bow a am asking for information about this bow or others just like I did the 56" maple sight window 1959 Kodiak bow I brought to the attention of this forum. I think I made it clear in that thread that I have a lot to learn about many bows and this is another one I hope to gain knowledge. Jim

I have seen pictures of a 1968 52", 92# Red Wing Hunter that was owned by the late Bob Gosdeck. He was one of the most knowledgeable people around when it came to Wing bows and he had a substantial collection of them. I was negotiating with him to trade 2 consecutively numbered tiny tip Wings for the 92 pound bow when he sadly passed away. According to Bob, Wing produced very few heavy weight bows.

Here is a copy an e-mail to me. He was answering a question I had asked him about one of my Wings.

"Hi Chuck--
You have a late 1968 RWH. Still Shedua wood. Original rest! Keep that one
in good shape! The Shedua lumber comes in different shades. It will vary
from shipment to shipment. I know this for a fact as I have a cabinet shop!
How much did you give for her if you don't mind me asking? They generally go
for about $150.00 or so.  I have one just like that in 52". One Big
Difference she is 92#. There were only a few built in the heaiver weights."
Thanks

thanks for finally some interesting info. Do you have any idea if they made a heavy one now and then or only if ordered. I should call Bob Lee he may shed some light. Jim
