The Patriot has a MSRP of $499 and you can sometimes find them new for a little less. As far as I know, they've always been 64"...

Jeremy-
Not sure what you mean by a MSRP - he is talking about a Bear Patriot Recurve that is 50 years old! Are you thinking of the Bowtech Patriot wheelie bow??!!
Robinier- in my opinion that is high. Patriots often sell for less thatn half of that price.

I believe he is referring to the Bear Patriot Longbow (Ferguson).

Hallo, i speak about the target-recurve, from the 70is. The wooden riser is filled (under press) with blue-colourd raisin, it has 3 thin red-white-red stripes layed in on both sides. I found a photo at tradgang:search "bear patriot" in this forum. It is 66" long. 300.-for this, unused??

Yup, I thought he was talking about the Bear Patriot longbow... sorry 'bout that. I don't really follow the 70's Bears, just 50-60.

$300 is way too high IMO. A lot of those bows were made 30 or 35# which limits their usage. i'd say they are worth 100 to $150.
