Hi Don,
Saw this thread and had to respond.
I am making kits I call "Knock off Bowhunter Kits".
 I make them with a Western 648 belt knife and a norton hone stone with a custom antler handled broadhead file. If you want more data and a pic or two PM me and I will get info to you asap.

Harry Seidy built 2 for me. I gave one to a cousin, and I use the other one.....fantastic craftsmanship.

I use the one I made.  Try it out folks.  It's not real hard and a fun and rewarding project.
