Colt Firearms Hunt Master
« on: July 12, 2010, 10:37:00 AM »
I just got an old colt recurve bow. it is a "Colt Hunt Master" and is 52" & 50# at 28".
Says it is a colt's pat. fire arms mfg. co.inc.
hartford, conn, u.s.a.
I didn't know colt firearms made archery.

Is this bow worth anything? is it one I should hang up on the wall or take out and shoot?

I have pics but don't know how to post them. I can email if you'd like...

Thanks!

lots of Colt bows were built by Wing Archery and are pretty good shooters. As for the value pending on condition but anywhere from say 75.00 to I saw one sell on auction for 275.00 once but more like 150.00 somewhere in there bd

cool!l Thanks!
I think I'll probably shoot it some & hang on to it. It's in pretty good condition, but is marked as "blemished". I'm not sure why because it seems in alright to me. Well, I got it for free anyways, so it was well worth the price I paid!  ;)
