help ID bow please

I have an older recurve. It looks like a Shakespeare to me. The markings are as follows
30-22336
30x-28"

I can only make out part of the manufacturers decal, but it appears to be a deer.

the limb is marked "Special" with an arrow going through it. Below that it is marked
No.730-4'-10"

My camera broke and my wife is on vacation, not that she would let me use it anyway!    
It looks like an old Shakespeare. Medium brown wood riser and brown glass over what I believe to be maple. Sorry Killie... thats all I got!

I believe it to be a Red Wing.Did they make bows for somebody else. That might explain the different decals.

My guess is that your bow is a Pearson Special. The number 730 is the model number. The numbers 30-22336 are the serial number. These numbers are in the Pearson style.

The numbers definitely aren't Shakespeare's style.Pearson sounds like a good bet.

I agree, sounds like a Pearson Special.

The weight is marked by the AMO conventions and it should scale 32-33# @ 28.  The standards state manufacturers are "supposed" to mark a bow 30# if it's 29-31 and mark it 30x if it's 32-33. The pattern repeats going up or down.
