Kodiak Special 68"
« on: August 18, 2010, 05:13:00 PM »
What was the first year of the Kodiak Special in the 68"?. I thought the one I have my sights set on had a running Bear decal,Plus the Kodiak Special decal, and a Pat. decal.! Has a small scruff in the Kodiak Special decal, and a small one in the Pat. decal, plus two small cracks in fiberglass. It is a yellowish fiberglass and is right handed at 71#. Other than that it looks perfect. The seller wants 400? Can anyone help with the value of such a bow, as I'm not up to date on such a bow.I though he was a little high on the price? Any Pm's or Posts would be helpful. Oh it was a D651,71#. Sorry no pic's, one of them spur of the moment deals.
                           Thanks

It sounds like a 1955.The first year they were offered. I would think the 71# would be very rare as the information I just looked at said up to 65# in 68". Value? I'm not certain. Seems quite high to me also in these times but I'm certainly no expert.

Much too expensive for my tastes    ...and 20# too heavy also.  :saywhat:
