Mine is a 1962, with a roll up sight. I guess it is a target bow.

Wayne,

Many of the Kodiak Specials were produced in lighter weights to cater to the target archers. The 62 I have is 66" and 48#.

You just had to get me going on KS again. I take one look at a bow with a Brazilian rosewood riser and my heart starts pounding, my hands start to sweat and my fingers start typing. My 60 Kodiaks started the whole thing and who knows where it will end.
Course the fact that bow would fit right between my 61 and 63 KS's may also have a bit to do with it. You know that bow is going to get lonely all by itself and if you sold it to me it would have some company. Just a thought.
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
