Need help Identifying this bow. I was told it was a Pearson. That's it. The only identifying marks are: 58" H2526M 45# II. Here are some pics.

Yup, Shakespeare. Sierra? What is the length and does it have tip overlays?

Oops, just saw the 58". I'm pretty sure thats a Sierra. Pretty good little bow, and a perfect candidate for a refinish.

I don't think it's a Sierra. The Sierras that I've seen were all 52",brown glass and no overlays. Still thinking it's a Necedah...???

I believe it is an early 70's Necedah X-26. I have a late 60's Necedah with cinnamon brown glass. Shakespeare went to the green glass in 71 or so.

Thanks guys. Sounds like it must be Shakespeare for sure and most are leaning toward Necedah.
Mahantango, definately refinish. I am actually thinking about refinishing all or part in ASAT camo. I am currently a ~whisper~ "wheelie" bow man but wanting to return to my roots. This will be my first Trad Bow in 30 years. (wow, didn't sound all that bad till I saw it in writting.)Deer season is almost over here and will hang up my Mathews... maybe permanently. We'll see how it goes. Will probably be asking lots of stupid questions and searching this forum alot. Thanks again. Bill
