Bear B handle - " The Brass Bear Bows"
« on: January 09, 2011, 04:54:00 PM »
I am not a Bear expert--- I own serial number 2012 -- limbs are # 1-1000   has a differnt handle style --- just drop dead beautiful-- dark contrasting wool---
I was told that the brass beas were used before the mold was completed for the plastic bears--
I have photos othe 3 other brass bears-- B handles---
my info says that there were only about 25 ever made ---
Does anyone know anything more about these very early b handles--- lets call the " The Brass Bear Bows-- "
Johnny Razor Head  please contact me---
Thanks   Rob Tiberio  CBSW

Sure would like to see Pics. I will post if you like. [email protected]
Are they type II handles?
I'm wondering why the serial number is
higher than the plastic bear handles.
need an education on these please.

Brass bears were put on the earliest risers, mabye 20 sets? so serial #s would be around 1001-1020 or so. B handles were shaped different than they were in later versions only the first 10 or so mabye that way

Thanks Chris, They sound pretty rare.
Maybe we'll get some pictures later.
