determining broadhead age
« on: January 23, 2011, 10:34:00 PM »
Hi, I recently got six howard hill broadheads. I am quite certain they are very old. Is there any way to tell what year they are from?

Pictures,pictures,pictures. did we say pictures?

If you can't post a pic then please email or PM me a pic.

There are many different HH heads, from his early hand made, to ones made by Pearson, to the present. Since you say they are Howard Hills I am going to guess that the ferrule says "Howard Hill"

Did you get those Micro Flights cleaned up?

I am not with the arrows/broadheads  now, but will put pictures up asap.

Raghorn- Yes, they say "Howard Hill" on the ferrule. Thanks for the information about the microflites, I will start working on them soon and show when I am done.

thanks
alex

Here's the Howard Hill heads that Alex has.
This head has not really changed since 1958 up to the present. It appears to be an 11/32"
