Bear takedown limbs?
« on: January 26, 2011, 12:58:00 PM »
There is a pawn shop close that has an old Bear Mini Mag wheel bow. Solid fiberglass limbs. I was wondering if the recurve limbs from any of the minuteman takedowns would fit this riser? And how hard would it be to find a light set (25-35#) for my daughter? Joe

Bowdoc, I traded the owner out of another recurve and left the Mini Mag on the wall till I could find out if these and the little recurves used the same risers. They look the same to me. Just a guess but maybe they took there recurve limbs and cut them off at the factory and started putting the metal wheel hangers on the ends. I might just take a chance and buy it. I hate to go back in there taking pics. The owner might think I really want it!  Joe.
