Cool, my first store bought bow was a '59 Kodiak. I hauled hay for a summer to pay for it..

Yours looks nearly new, great find.. wish I still had mine.

Very nice, Congrats.

Ive been having this "itch" to hunt with one of the L O N G bear versions..........don't ask me why.

Something about that long long LONG length, pictures of such lengths engraved in my brain from movies of long ago......I think?

LOL

or.....maybe just something I havent done yet.

Is it my imagination or is the longest of the various versions "more rare" on average?

God Bless

Certainly the 66 inch version of the KS seems easier to come by.

Even a 69 inch bow is really only 4 and a half inches longer on each end than a 60 incher.

There is nothing like the forgiving nature of a longer bow for field accuracy. I will be hunting lots this year with my 66 inch Kodiaks and Polar.

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

The longer versions tended to be bought more for target work and tend, for that reason, to be in better condition.
