Info on 70's Bear Patriots please

Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if I could pick at your guy's brains a bit and get some info on the mid-late 70's Grayling bear Patriots.  Just from looking at them I am assuming they were target bows. I really like the red/white/blue theme to them, but I have also seen them in more natural wood.  How do they shoot? and how do they rank among bears other target shooters like the polor, tigercat, tartar and the likeing.

You are correct, the Patriot was a target bow. Because of that of course they are tough to find in a good hunting weight. Thats why I went with the red white and blue SUper Grizzly. Same exact colors as the Patriot but on a 58" AMO.

I think the Super Grizzlys are way under rated. They came in 3 color schemes and the red white and blue is the hardest to find (probably because white limbs were not real popular with hunters - the other 2 color schemes had dark limbs). I just love the look of that red white blue bicentennial looking bow.

I have a takedown model with the chrome latches. Great shooting target bow and I shoot it often.
