Digging up this inquiry that got no responses 5 years ago. I am about to repair and refinish a 1961 birdseye maple Herters bow. I can re-write the serial number, weight on the side of the riser but I'd love to have the old Herter's decal in place on the lower limb. If nobody has re-created them, I either have to mask over and work around it or photograph and recreate with a color printer and clear label substrate.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

Have you talked with Al Harford about it.  I had a conversation with him awhile back and came away with the impression that he could even do the handwriting for serial number, weight, etc.
