accessory bushing on kodiak

can the accessory bushing on the back of the kodiaks that where built in the late 60s and early 70s be removed? are they screwed in ?

nope they are glued in with hot melt.Heat up a bolt that is the same size and thread as the bushing and just start screwing the hot bolt into the bushing it should come right out.When I say heat up the bolt I do not mean cherry red just good and warm-ish enough to melt hot melt.To hot of a bolt could soften the glue in your riser.It should come out real easy and an alan head bolt works best.Just stick the bolt on the alan wrench and pass in through your heat until its to hot to touch with your bare hand bd
