help with bear take down quiver

Hey guys, I've got an awesome green stripe take-down and I love it, actually got my first two traditional deer with it. My problem is that it is not drilled for a quiver and I dont really want to mess with it, but I am having a hard time setting it up with a good hunting quiver. Could some of you that have a similar setup show some pics of your quivers. I am also currently shooting axis arrows, which are very small diameter and adding to the problem because of the bigger grippers in most two-piecers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If it's a Green stripe T/D as you say, it has a bushing in front and a bushing on the side.
The quiver I am using on the same bow is a 4 arrow Bear quiver. It can also be had in 8 arrow model. I highly recommend them.

Here is a picture of the quiver side "RH" on a green stripe showing the quiver bushings.
The bushing in front of the bow can also mount a quiver with the quiver adapter. I have them if you need.

Hi vintage bears, I have the same two bushings on mine. I tried that setup with the eight arrow quiver, but if I used the side mounting hole I had to put a thick piece of leather (1/2") between the quiver and the bow to keep the fletchings out of the string path and then I tried the same quiver with the adaptor, but that seemed like alot of extra stuff hanging on my bow. I could settle for either of these if that quiver would hold the smaller diameter arrows. Another question for you is that my bow makes a small noise without a quiver , it seems to be coming from the latches but the riser is in a+ condition and there seems to be nothing astray, have you ever had a noise problem with yours? Thanks.

Hey I just noticed the bears on the latches of yours. Did all green stripes have these? If so maybe mine has after market latches?

Your initial question was about a bow quiver for your green stripe T/D. You said it has no provisions for a quiver. I pointed out and shown you quiver options on the handle from the factory.

Now your saying that you use the Bear quiver setup and unhappy with it.        LOL

I'm sure there are other quiver setups that you can use. Great Northern strap on bow quiver would work.

I, myself favor the factory 4 arrow model for my green stripe t/d. I have some velcro on the handle near the bushing to not scratch the riser should I get careless when mounting/dismounting the quiver.
A new arrow gripper will hold all arrows and is very nostalgic as well.
Bob york makes great replacements.
Gainseville Bear T/D bows did not have bears on the latches. Mine are aftermarket bears I added to the bow.

Your bow makes noise without quiver?
Please tell me more detail.
