About all white arrows.
« on: December 12, 2011, 02:02:00 PM »
There are lots and lots of photos of Fred hunting where he is hunting with all white painted arrows.

Ive seen some Pearson arrows like that but not often. Fewer Bear ones.

Tossing around hunting with some for "old times sake" (and cause I'm odd, lol) yet finding original ones, spined correctly, might take a bit but I have all year.

Easy enough to make, yet doesn't fit my plans as well.

I wouldnt want to break out a box of unopened ones to do so but figured some of you have some laying around with photos of originals and have some info on how far back they dated?

Arrows are harder to place age wise most times but assume lots of you have info and I thank you in advance.

God Bless

Steve,

These are replicas of 1960 Bear Cedar King's made by TRAP.  Great arrows.  TRAP and Magnus here make quality replicas / tribute arrows.

Yeah, I know they're with a 1959 but she likes younger guys.

VERY nice looking group there, Colin.
thanks for showing me the crest on those arrows and for the info.

Ive got some 55 (ish) all yellow arrows that came with Lafonds rippers on,neat but about 1.5 inches short like a lot of the older arrows.

I'll probably have to pay out the nose to find some original all white arrows with original heads but as time goes by, they will be harder and harder to find in shootable condition.

I appreciate your help
God Bless

Seems like in one of those Bear videos Fred said he had to use white arrows for the benefit of the camera.

And I'm stressing the "seems like" part of that sentence....I might have read that online from someone who has no clue!
