Kodiak Special Strike Plates
« on: December 17, 2011, 09:40:00 AM »
Does anyone know if the 1960 Kodiak Special came from the factory with a stike plate?  The Bear Catalog DVD shows 1955 - 1960 (59 and 60 catalogs show the same picture of 59 KS with cresent over glass) without them and the 1961-1963 with narrow arrowhead shaped plates.  Were 61-63 the only years the KS came from the factory with strike plates?  Does anyone know where to get original 61-63 strike plates?  My guess from looking at the catalog pictures is that the KS came from the factory with an arrow rest but no strike plate unless special ordered?  Thanks for you input.  Dave

Does anyone have a 1960 Kodiak Special with the original strike plate on it. If so, could you get back to me with a description of the strike plate and the color of it. If possible, please e-mail me a photo of the strike plate. I would appreciate it. Thank you.
