Wing Falcon

Just came across a Wing Falcon, #35, 62''. On the lower part of the handle where the specs. are written there is factory writing that says "Blemished".Found that interesting. Did they sell these bows at a reduced price or in quanity to summer camps and such ? Seems like a nice bow and the long length and low draw wt. make it a dream to shoot.
were it worth the trouble? Huh? What trouble?

All manufacturers did this. They marked them that way and sold them with the understanding that the bow was sold as is and could not be returned. Many of them stamped an S into the riser and Bear used an S and a star symbol. There is a Wing and a Colt bow on the auction site now that is marked Blemished. Usually the blemish was something minor with the finish or the glass and did not affect the shoting of the bow.
